Spinal Cord Injury/Anesthesia Pain Clinic

We know the pain is real and has a definite impact on our quality of life. People with Spinal Cord Injuries can experience chronic pain in areas with normal sensation, as well as areas with little or no sensation.

There are several types of pain a person can experience: neuropathic, musculoskeletal, central and visceral.

What can we do about this pain? If we have no sensation in a particular area, how come we can feel pain?
