Checking messages by phone:

  1. Dial access number
  2. Enter your extension number
  3. Immediately press * to interrupt your initial greeting (* is the log in digit)
  4. Enter your pass code: 2000

Ext. 1 Directory
Ext. 2 Voicemail Set-up Request
Ext. 3 ILRU
Ext. 4 Center 1
Ext. 5 Center 2
Ext. 6 Center 3

While listening to messages you can:

  • press 0 to pause, press any key to resume playing
  • press * to back up 5 seconds
  • press # to forward 5 seconds
  • press 1 to back up to beginning of previous message
  • press 5 (keep) or 3 (delete)
  • press 7 to skip to next message
  • press 9 to go back to previous menu

When we get a call for an emergency we will get an email with the audio file. Steps to follow:

  • Assign them an extension number
  • Go to website and assign email address to that extension so that messages go to them and not us (at bottom of this page).
  • contact them and give them the following information so they know how to use the system.

Recording your personal greeting and name announcements:

  1. Dial 866-203-5111
  2. Enter your extension number
  3. Press *
  4. Enter pass code: 1000 or 2000
  5. Press 8 for user options
  6. Press 1 to record your main mailbox greeting
  7. Follow the prompts to review/record AND save your greeting
  8. Press 2 to record your name announcement

Web Login:

Go to www.messagingservice.com
Click on Login on the left side of the screen
Enter your user name: (email address on file with us) mgordon@ilru.org
Enter your password: (password is your first initial and your last name all in lower case letters) mgordon

Accessing Multiple Mailboxes

After logging in, click on Mailbox Directory.
Select the mailbox you wish to edit from the list.
After selecting the mailbox, you will be logged into that specific mailbox in the Mailbox Directory.  When you are finished editing an extension, select Mailbox Directory again to view all voice mailboxes.

Making Changes

Phone Numbers:You can change the number to which calls are being transferred by selecting this option, and changing the first number under the column labeled “Find-Me Numbers”.

Notification:  You can change the email address to which messages are sent by selecting this option, and changing the Voice Message Notification Email field.

Message Center

You can check your messages online by clicking on the Message Center, where you can listen to your messages over your computer speakers.

Administration

Here you can change your web access passcode, your voice mailbox passcode for when you check messages by phone, and set an Admin Caller ID number that will automatically log you into your extension when you call from that phone.

Reports

Under this option you can check your Call Log to see all calls that have come in, or check the Message Activity to see what actions have been taken with voicemails (when they were listened to, when they were deleted, etc).
