Nursing Home Ownership in the States

Throughout the country there are 16,701 nursing homes with 1,814,374 nursing home beds and 1,470,805 residents.

Ownership of these nursing homes is either by (1) For Profit (by corporation, individual or partnership), (2) Government entity (city, county or state), (3) For Nonprofit (church or corporation).
