Information on Outcome Measures

This area contains a variety of tools produced to assist in the development of outcome measures for centers for independent living. The products below were principally developed by the National Council on Independent Living (NCIL) Outcomes Measures Task Force with the support of IL Net. IL Net is a joint project of Independent Living Research Utilization (ILRU) and NCIL, a training and technical assistance project funded through the Department of Education’s Rehabilitation Services Administration (DOE-RSA).

The complete ILRU website was developed with support from grants from the Department of Education. However, its contents and the opinions expressed do not necessarily represent the policy of the Department of Education, and no endorsement by the Department should be inferred.

ILRU is a program of TIRR Memorial Hermann (The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research), a nationally recognized medical rehabilitation facility for persons with disabilities.
