Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this two-part presentation, participants will be able to:

  • Explain what “outcomes” are and how they differ from outputs, activities, and inputs
  • Explain how outcomes relate to mission, goals, and objectives
  • Explain the rationale and benefits of measuring outcomes for effective SILC operations
  • Describe how SILC-relevant outcomes differ from CIL or DSU outcomes
  • Explain relationships among various desired SILC outcomes through the application of a logic model
  • Explain how SILCs can measure outcomes and create action plans to maximize these results
