Susanne Bruyere, Ph.D, Director, Cornell University Program on Employment and Disability, School of Industrial and Labor Relations Extension Division; some of the topics to be covered are as follows: the role of human resource (HR) professionals in disability nondiscrimination; employer response to the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act employment provisions; employer perceptions of continuing barriers to the employment and advancement of people with disabilities; and ways to address these barriers in workplace policies and practices; and the role of CILs in this process.
