Research is a systematic way of looking at the world with
established rules, terminology, and concepts. In this web cast, we will
explain the basics of research that are used to design and conduct a study.
Specifically, the session will discuss models of disability and how these
differing models strongly influence disability research such as the questions
investigated, the design of the research, and the results of studies. In
addition, the presenters will discuss the importance of different research
concepts to the development of rigorous, valid, and relevant disability
research.
