About the Presenters

 

Laura Plummer, MA, CRC is a Resource Counselor with the Center for Independent Living for Western Wisconsin. Ms. Plummer has a Master’s Degree in Deafness Rehabilitation Counseling from Northern Illinois University and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. She has been providing services to a cross disability population for over 11 years in a rural ten county area and her specialty areas are hearing and vision losses as well as the senior population.


Cindi Pichler is the coordinator of the Assistive Technology Program at IndependenceFirst. She has held this position for 12 years and has received extensive training in a wide variety of Assistive Technology related topics, including funding issues, evaluation and selection, home modifications, and specific devices. Cindi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Exceptional Education and a Masters degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. She is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and a Certified Assistive Technology Practioner.
