Lane vs. Tennessee:
Implications for Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act

Abstract

This presentation will provide an overview of the case as well as its implications for the ADA. Edward Correia, a nationally recognized expert on sovereign immunity and the line of cases challenging Title II will talk about the significance of the case, what it might mean for states that are bringing challenges to the constitutionality of Title II, and what it means for people with disabilities.
