"Lessons Learned from the EEOC's Interim Report on Best Practices for the Employment of People with Disabilities in State Government"

Abstract

This presentation will discuss the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's review of best practices in four states - Florida, Maryland, Vermont, and Washington - to promote employment opportunities for people with disabilities. The purpose of the review and its methodology will briefly be reviewed, and significant findings from the Interim Report will be highlighted. Representatives from some of the participating states will also be available to answer specific questions about their best practices and to discuss other state initiatives for people with disabilities.
