DOT Proposes Changes to ADA Transportation Regulation:

Abstract

Comments on the proposed changes are due April 28.

The U.S. Department of Transportation is proposing to amend its Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 regulations on a number of subjects including access to rail station platforms, requiring transit providers to modify policies and practices to ensure that their programs are accessible to individuals with disabilities, and codifying practices on issuing DOT guidance on disability matters.
