An Overview of Federal Fair Housing Amendments Act of 1988

Abstract

This web cast will give an overview of the federal Fair Housing Amendments Act of 1988. The FHAA protects civil rights in housing for persons with disabilities and other groups. FHAA provisions such as covered service/practices, reasonable accommodation, reasonable modification plus the design and construction requirements will be discussed. Other fair housing issues of interest will be scoping/coverage, terms and condition plus disparate impacts.
