About the Presenter

Dr. Spungen is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Rehabilitation Medicine at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. She received her doctoral degree from Columbia University in Applied Physiology with a minor in Statistics. She is the Associate Director of the VA Rehabilitation, Research and Development Center of Excellence for the Medical Consequences of Spinal Cord Injury (SCI), located at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Bronx, NY.
