About the Presenter

Dr. Andrew Houtenville is currently a Senior Research Associate at New Editions Consulting in McLean, Virginia.  He is extensively involved disability statistics and employment policy research.  He is a co-Principal Investigator of the Hunter College Rehabilitation Research and Training Center on Disability Demographics and Statistics (StatsRRTC).  He has published widely in the areas of disability statistics and the economic status of people with disabilities.  He was the Principal Investigator of the Cornell University Rehabilitation Research and Training Center on Disability Demographics and Statistics.

Dr. Houtenville received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of New Hampshire in 1997 and was a National Institute on Aging Post-Doctoral Fellow at Syracuse University in 1998/1999.  This fall he will be taking a position as an Associate Professor of Economics and Research Director of the Institute on Disability at the University of New Hampshire.
