Abstract

Barbara Chandler, Fair Housing Manager for the Metropolitan Boston Housing Partnership will discuss updates on Fair Housing issues and Reasonable Accommodations.

During this session we will:

  • Provide an overview and background of the Fair Housing Act
  • Explain Scoping and Coverage under the Fair Housing Amendments Act of 1988
  • Discuss who can make reasonable accommodation requests, the interactive process, terms/conditions regarding assistive animals, and medical documentation
  • Explore available resources & updates to these
