  • Define SILC purpose and duties specified in regulation.
  • Explore the range of activities within those duties that are appropriate and relevant for SILCs to undertake.
  • Describe the importance of the SILC’s role in coordination and collaboration with DSUs, CILs, and other entities such as Councils, Boards and Consumer Groups.
  • Identify strategies for SILCs to serve as catalysts for expanding the reach of the Independent Living program within their states.
