About the Training

The results of ILRU’s SILC Needs Assessment Survey have been compiled and they are so interesting that this training was designed to share the results with you.

This video training of the webinar held in November 2013 includes a discussion of the methods and processes SILCs are using to gather and use information on the needs of people with disabilities. This discussion gives you an opportunity to learn from your SILC peers. You will learn about the survey findings, hear from several SILCs with promising practices, and hear comments and questions from the webinar audience.

SILC Executive Directors, board members, staff, and any others interested in needs assessment practices.

About the Moderator

Jeff Sheen, MSW is a Project Director at the Center for Persons with Disabilities (CPD), at Utah State University. Jeff has been involved in directing and evaluating a number of projects designed to improve community resources for individuals with disabilities and their families. Recently, Jeff was involved in the SILC Needs Assessment Survey to determine current approaches and practices in needs assessment at SILCs across the country.
