About the Training

Join APRIL and ACL on Tuesday, May 8th at 2:00 PM EST- 4:00 PM EST for a discussion on the state of rural housing. Those in the field of IL know that a lack of affordable, accessible, integrated housing is one of the top barriers to independent living and community participation that CIL’s identify.

Register for the webinar today!

This call will be the first of a series of events to begin a process of unpacking these complicated issues surrounding housing and move forward as a community towards solution focused thinking. Although our focus is housing in rural areas, we acknowledge that these issues are not isolated to rural and so we welcome everyone to participate in the conversation.

Join APRIL, ACL, and our facilitators to begin a conversation to:

  1. Identify themes for future discussions and trainings.
  2. Begin to collect emerging practices and success stories from the field.
  3. Begin a framework for working together as a community to address housing as a barrier.
