Alma J. Burgess graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Family and Human Development with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and Brigham Young University with a Master's in Public Administration. He currently is a Project Coordinator at the Center for Persons with Disabilities and works on many projects. He provides Technical Support for IL-Net Online Courses for Independent Living Center Staff around the country. He co-instructs the Interdisciplinary Disability Awareness and Service Learning Program (IDASL), collects data for the Utah Assistive Technology Program, and is the Project Coordinator for Citizen's Reutilizing Assistive Technology Equipment (CReATE) a wheelchair refurbishing program. He enjoys working at the CPD and interacting with the people he comes in contact with. Alma loves spending time with his family.
