Hourly, Non-Exempt – Full Time

DeafLink is excited to announce the availability of a Case Coordinator position. The right candidate will have the opportunity to provide services, such as access to transportation, housing, health care, adaptive equipment and more, to consumers who are Deaf or have hearing-loss, primarily in northeast Indiana. DeafLink is the premier community agency for the Deaf in northeast Indiana. Since 1990, we have been serving the needs of people who are Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing.

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; BA/BS in Health and Human Services; Psychology, Counseling, Bachelor of Social Work and/or Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of Deaf culture
  • Ability to communicate effectively in American Sign Language (ASL)
  • Excellent receptive and expressive sign language skills in American Sign Language
  • Ability to write and correspond in exact English
  • Knowledge of, or ability to learn federal, state, and local civil rights provisions and support systems available to people with disabilities
  • Ability to independently operate computers, Microsoft applications, and learn internal network and software
