Administration for Community Living (ACL) Offers Free Face Masks to ACL Grantees in the Aging and Disability Networks

Thanks to our colleagues at the HHS Partnership Center and the HHS Office of the Assistant Secretary of Preparedness and Response and their partners, we have another opportunity to offer free face coverings to community-based non-profit organizations that provide direct services to older adults and people with disabilities.

To place your order, please complete this quick online form. If you have any questions or difficulties completing the form – please contact cedric.myers@acl.hhs.gov

Orders primarily will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last, but quantities for individual orders may be limited to allow more organizations to be served. Because supplies are limited, this offer is limited to ACL grantees in the aging and disability networks.

Additional details:

  • Face masks are 100% Cotton Jersey, bind around face and ear loops, and are treated with a 0.5% OWG Agion AMB-10 Antimicrobial (which is thought to remain on the face mask for up to 15 washings).
  • They do not replace the N95 face mask used in healthcare settings and should not be used when caring for those with COVID-19. They are intended to expand the community’s capacity to limit the spread of COVID-19.
  • The face masks come in cartons of 500 masks per carton
  • It may take between 30 to 45 days to receive the face coverings from date of order.
  • They will be shipped directly to your organization at no cost. Please note you will not receive a tracking number or be provided shipping alerts- so they will be delivered as you instructed without notice.

ACL is happy to share this opportunity and to collect orders, but ACL will not be shipping your order.  Should you have questions about your order after 30 days, please email facecoverhhsaspr@hhs.gov and make a direct inquiry.

Thank you,

Your ACL colleagues
