RAISE Recommendations to Support Family Caregivers and Boost Aging Services Head to Congress

Late last month, the U.S. Administration for Community Living’s RAISE (Recognize, Assist, Include, Support, and Engage) Family Caregiving Advisory Council released recommendations that would significantly boost aging services and support family caregivers. The recommendations support the needs of family caregivers, many of whom rely on services provided by Area Agencies on Aging and other community-based organizations (CBOs) such as information and assistance, training, respite, support groups and other programs that educate caregivers.
