This presentation offers an overview of the regulations and provides some best practices around implementation. Whatever the status of regulations might be, the impact of the coming changes on the SILCs and the development and submission of the State Plans for Independent Living will be at a decisive point in the history of the IL Program. SPILs will have been submitted and all of the IL Networks will have had to make some far-reaching decisions. Administration for Community Living (ACL) staff answer questions from their perspective about both the regulations and proposed standards & indicators for SILCs.
