The Great Lakes ADA Center invites you to register for the upcoming Arts-n-Rec session titled “They are called "Natural" Resources, not "Built" Resources,; How do we access them?,” featuring: Ric Edwards, ADA Director, Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
Learn best practices to ensure parks and outdoor areas are and remain as accessible as possible without taking away the Natural experience. Accessibility topics to be covered include prioritizing, evaluating, and maintenance planning in relation to trails, picnic areas, vault toilets, piers/docks, playgrounds, campgrounds, etc. Participants will have an opportunity to ask the speaker questions following the presentation.
