Join the webinar Universal Design to Promote Inclusion in Learning sponsored by the National Association of Extension Program and Staff Development Professionals (NAEPSDP) on August 18, 2016 at 2:00PM Eastern. This session will provide an overview of requirements and best practice strategies to make online learning accessible to and readily usable by persons with disabilities and all constituents. NAEPSDP teamed up with the Southern Region – PLN Program and Staff Development Committee to plan and host the Virtual Summer School (VSS) four-part webinar series.

Presenters for this webinar include: Richard Petty of The National Center for Aging and Disability (NCAD) and Independent Living Research Utilization (ILRU)  at The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research and J. Sam Thomas of Independent Living Research Utilization (ILRU)  at The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research in Houston, Texas. They will discuss the need for inclusion and accessibility of digital media products for persons with disabilities.
