Chris McVey

Chris McVey is Director of Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships for MN Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS) a state agency within the Department of Employment and Economic Development. She has worked for VRS since 1993 as a vocational rehabilitation counselor. She provided vocational counseling and guidance for ten years prior to moving into a field manager position and eventually into a statewide leadership level position with VRS for the past four years.

She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Minnesota and her Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling from Mankato State University. She has been a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) since 1993.
