The conference will consist of short ‘lightning talk’ style presentations from ADA researchers from the ADA National Network and other organizations. This session will be organized around two themes:

• Health and society.
• Community needs and access.

This session will provide an in-depth review of some of the most significant ADA cases from the past year. In addition to reviewing the specific facts and ruling of each case, there will be discussion of how these cases may affect future ADA litigation. The webinar will cover a wide variety of issues under Titles I, II and III. 

In this presentation, we’ll provide a brief explanation of generative AI, then discuss how people with disabilities are using it to address access issues and how AI is currently causing harm. We’ll end with some recommendations for future design of AI systems that benefit and support disabled communities.
