Ron Halog

Ron Halog is Executive Director of Community Resources for Independent Living in Hayward, California and has served in the disability non-profit sector for over 35 years. During his last position as Executive Director of Ala Costa Centers, his leadership grew the organization both in service delivery and financially. Under his leadership, Ala Costa received recognition for quality services from Parent’s Press (3 years in a row) and the 2011 Bernie Graff Award from the Alameda County Developmental Disabilities Council. Ron was awarded a two-year fellowship from LeaderSpring, an organization that supports executive directors in the non-profit sector. He also serves on the board of directors for the California Foundation for Independent Living Centers as the Member at Large and as the Vice President for the Alameda County Developmental Disabilities Council.
