National Paralysis Resource Center Quality of Life Grant Opportunities
The National Paralysis Resource Center (NPRC) (operated by the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation) is announcing two grant funding opportunities through its 2024 first-cycle Direct Effect and Expanded Impact Quality of Life (QOL) grants initiatives.A free application technical assistance webinar will be held on Thursday, February 1, from 3:00-4:30 PM ET. A Q&A period will be provided. The application deadline is March 8, 2024.
Direct Effect (Tier 1) grants offer up to $25,000 to nonprofit organizations for a wide range of projects that clearly impact individuals living with paralysis, their families, and caregivers. For more information, see the list of previously funded Direct Effect projects.
Expanded Impact (Tier 5) grants are awarded to previously funded QOL grantees whose programs and projects have achieved demonstrable, successful impact. Approximately four grants of up to $100,000 each will support significant expansion of evidence-based strategies and programs, innovative promising practices, or the best practices in the field that improve the quality of life for people with living paralysis, their families, and caregivers.
