About the training
Do you possess valuable insights that can empower others to engage diverse audiences of people with disabilities in knowledge translation activities? If so, we're eager to learn from you! Our conference theme this year is, "Disability Inclusion, Intersectionality, and Knowledge Translation."
This year, we're focusing on ensuring full inclusion of people with disabilities in KT, exploring intersections with gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, rurality, religion, and national origin. We encourage presentations addressing research project design, implementation, dissemination, interpretation, and strategies for promoting uptake of findings. Let's discuss inclusive strategies and methods that overcome ableism and privilege users' perspectives. We welcome diverse presentation formats, such as chat shows, participatory approaches, fishbowl conversations, or arts-based presentations.
Where: The conference will take place entirely online.
When: October 14, 16 and 18, 2024, 1-4 p.m. Eastern each day
