Southwest ADA Center This guide was first produced in 2019. The updates of this booklet include a more comprehensive and practical guide that is designed to be utilized by local, state, and federal government correctional institutions, government-funded private detention facilities and other corrections contractors, in order to educate and train staff regarding their Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other civil rights responsibilities towards both inmates and visitors who have disabilities.
