Dr. Lynne Davis is a neuropsychologist at TIRR Memorial Hermann's Brain Injury Research Center and clinical assistant professor in the department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Baylor College of Medicine. She earned her doctorate in clinical psychology with specialization in neuropsychology from the University of Houston, after completing an internship at Duke University Medical Center. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in rehabilitation research and clinical neuropsychology on the NIDRR-funded Rehabilitation Research and Training Center on Community Integration of Persons with Traumatic Brain Injury.
As part of the NIDRR-funded Rehabilitation Research and Training Center on Developing Strategies to Foster Community Integration and Participation for Individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury, she is principal investigator on a randomized controlled trial to investigate the effectiveness of a vocational case coordination system for enhancing return to work after traumatic brain injury.
Dr. Davis has presented at numerous national conferences and co-authored several peer-reviewed articles. Her current areas of research include gender differences, return to work, and social functioning following traumatic brain injury.
