Margie Moore currently serves as Coordinator for Project LINC (Linking Individuals Into Neighborhoods and Communities) AmeriCorps Program. Margie is responsible for the coordination and execution of Project LINC AmeriCorps programmatic goals and objectives. She also has worked tirelessly in the disability field for over 30 years as Supported Employment Specialist, Living Independence Skills Instructor, and Vocational Rehabilitation Employment Specialist. Margie is the proud parent and grandparent of three children and three grandchildren. She resolved to become involved in defending the rights of the people with disabilities after the birth of her oldest son. Gary was born with a cognitive disability and Margie fought for fair education and inclusion. Margie brings her commitment to advancing the rights and opportunities of people with disabilities to her work with Project LINC AmeriCorps Program.
