Bio: 

Lisa is currently serving as the Associate Regional Counsel for Litigation for Region V of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, comprised mainly of the Great Lakes states. Previously she was Chief Fair Housing Counsel for Region V, where she supervised the fair housing practice and litigation team. Prior to joining the Department, Ms. Danna-Brennan was the Chief of the Disability Rights Bureau of the Office of the Illinois Attorney General, where she advised the Attorney General on disability policy and legislation and filed litigation on behalf of Illinois’ disabled constituents. Ms. Danna-Brennan also served as the Assistant Bureau Chief of the Civil Rights Bureau for that office. Ms. Danna-Brennan began her career as the housing staff attorney at Access Living of Metropolitan Chicago, a disability rights organization, where she managed a HUD Fair Housing Initiatives Program grant for over six years and filed fair housing cases in federal court, and in administrative forums.
