Calling CBOs! USAging Opens Nominations for The John A. Hartford Foundation 2023 Business Innovation Award

The Aging and Disability Business Institute at USAging is now accepting nominations for The John A. Hartford Foundation 2023 Business Innovation Award. The deadline for nominations is May 5.

The John A. Hartford Foundation Business Innovation Award highlights the successes of community-based organizations (CBOs) that are partnering and contracting with health care entities, such as hospitals and health plans, with the goal of spurring the replication of these partnerships nationwide.

The award draws national attention to innovative strategies from the aging and disability networks and spurs the replication of these approaches nationwide. In 2023 the Business Institute is especially inviting applicants to highlight innovations related to health care contracting and one or more of the following areas related to age-friendly care and the 4Ms (what matters, medication, mentation and mobility): advance care planning, care coordination, caregiving, dementia care, health equity or health disparities, medication management, person-centered planning and transportation.

Award recipients will receive a plaque, and the first-place winner will receive a monetary award of up to $5,000 during USAging’s Annual Conference and Tradeshow in Salt Lake City, July 16-19. Learn about past recipients of the award.

Submit your nominations by May 5.
