Looking for Peer Mentoring?

The IL-NET T&TA Center and the Association of Programs for Rural Independent Living (APRIL) is Offering Peer-to-Peer Mentoring.

In this new year it brings with it change, growth, and new goals. If you are a new executive director at a center for independent living (CIL) or statewide independent living council (SILC), or are in a leadership position at your organization and seeking support to grow or expand your knowledge or services then contact Mary Willard, IL-NET Peer Mentor Coordinator at mwillard@april-rural.org.

The IL-NET Peer-to-Peer Mentoring Program that is administered by APRIL is an opportunity to connect one-on-one with one of your peers from across the country in order to work towards your goals for a six-month period. Examples of previous goals include: learning the ropes of leading your organization as a new executive director; starting transportation programs; nursing home transition programs; training for new assistant directors; expanding services or outreach to service areas; youth transition programs; and more. Find out if you might benefit from peer-to-peer mentoring or technical assistance today by filling out the application at:
